Ingredients:
Sauce
2 tbsp. oil
1 medium onion
2 lbs. diced tomatoes
1 can of tomato paste
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
¼ tsp. garlic powder
Lasagna
1 lb. lasagna noodles
1 lb. ricotta cheese
½ lb. shredded mozzarella
¾ cup parmesan cheese
Instructions:
Sauté diced onion in oil on high heat until golden brown. Add diced tomatoes, paste, and seasonings. Let simmer for about 45 minutes. Cook lasagna according to directions on packaging. In a greased baking dish, alternate layers of lasagna, sauce, ricotta cheese, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese. Top with parmesan cheese, then bake in 350-degree oven for 25 minutes.
