Poppy Seed Cake

Ingredients:
Cake-
3 cups flour
2 ½ cups sugar
1 ½ tsp. salt
1 ½ tsp. baking powder
3 eggs
1 ½ cups milk
1 cup and 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 tbsp. poppy seeds
1 ½ tsp. vanilla extract
1 ½ tsp. almond extract
1 ½ tsp. butter
Glaze-
1 cup confectioners’ sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. freshly-squeezed lemon juice
Instructions:
Combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, eggs, milk, oil, poppy seeds, vanilla, almond extract, and butter in a large bowl. Grease and flour bundt or angel food pan. Bake in 325-degree oven for 60 minutes. In a small bowl, whisk together confectioners sugar, milk, and lemon juice until smooth to make a thin glaze. Once cake has cooled, poke holes in the top, then pour glaze over the top of the cake.
