Streusel Coffeecake

Ingredients:

Cake

  • ¾ cup sugar

  • ⅓ cup oil

  • 1 egg

  • ½ cup milk

  • 1 ½ cups flour

  • 2 tsp. baking powder

  • ½ tsp. salt

Topping

  • ½ cup light brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp. flour

  • 2 tsp. cinnamon

  • 2 tbsp. oil

  • ½ cup finely chopped walnuts

Instructions:

Combine sugar, oil, and egg. Add milk and beat thoroughly. Stir in combined dry ingredients and beat until smooth. Spread mixture in greased 9-inch square pan. Combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, oil, and chopped walnuts with a fork to make topping. Sprinkle topping over batter and bake in 375-degree oven for 30 minutes.
