Thumb Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter

  • ½ cup sugar

  • 2 cups flour

  • 2 egg yolks

  • ½ tsp. of vanilla

  • ¼ tsp. salt

  • 1 cup strawberry or raspberry jam

Instructions:

Combine flour, butter, sugar, beaten egg yolks, salt, and vanilla to create dough. Roll dough into balls and make indentations with your thumb. Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheet and fill indentations with jam. Bake in 350-degree oven for 20 minutes.
